Why are they trying to stop the world from seeing the documentary “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised?”
Venezuela Alert!!
Why are they trying to stop the world from seeing the documentary “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised?”
If you put together a journalist with 24 years of “experience” in corporate commercial television, a General, a news executive from a private television station and the chief of police, anywhere in the world, to analyse a documentary that exposes the very machinations of the corporate media, the police and the big business in trying to overthrow the legitimate government of Venezuela…well, the result is pretty predictable: a childish irrational reaction of trying to stop the rest of us from seeing the documentary by any possible means.
Amnesty International in Venezuela can corroborate this, as they have been the recipients of a none too subtle threat to their security unless the documentary was dropped from the list of films due to be shown at the Amnesty film festival in Vancouver.
Now it is the time for those who want to see this multiple award-winning documentary to make their voice heard. It is a very good documentary and one where we can see our countries’ future if corporate media and big business run the show. That is, no doubt, why they want to stop us from seeing it.
