There was a nice reclaim the streets march in Montreal yesterday november 20, against the FTAA. Starting from two points and taking the roads, blocking traffic all the way two marches met at the business centre, went on togethere to stop at St.Catherine and McGill intersection where chairs blocked all traffic in four directions and a soundsystem started the party. After 45 minutes police was all around and it was decided to leave : still chanting and taking the streets people left. No arrests as far as known.

We (menacing EU-block of two persons) caried a banner for the Tessaloniki prisoners all the way, then hung it on a billboard at the endpoint. Many people and some journalists wanted to know what it was about, so it might at least have helped to make it all known this side of the ocean. Some of the student-radioprograms will cover it in the next few days.

Thankyou from the heart. Yesterday there seems there was some good news at least with an investigation being recommended. Hopefully the fact that indymedia uk got 1 million plus hits in one day yesterday with the article about the hunger strikers as the top item will help keep the pressure up for a fair trial and due rights.
