Democratic Privilidge

Watching the Queen and Bush give their speeches tonight, about democracy and its privilidges for us all, I couldnt help but look around the room and compare mine to theirs. A room full of extremely wealthy people, all of them born into families with money. Her wearing as many diamonds as she could without keeling over from the weight. Him wearing that smug grin that only the disgustingly rich can manage, in his position only because daddy could afford to put him there. Sitting in those surroundings, drinking expensive alcohol from expensive glasses, eating the tastiest banquet probably served in the world tonight. How easy it must be to toast to freedom when you've always had it all. How easy when you can get all the poor mugs and taxpayers to front the bill for your wonderful food, drink, clothes and jewellery. Tonight for my families dinner we had frozen chips, served with a 'breakfast' muffin (ive got my period goddamnit, we eat weird at this time of the month). We're spoiling ourselves with some maltesers for afters. I cant afford new socks let alone bloody diamonds. This may all seem like just a moan (it is really), but what is freedom and democracy, equal rights and equal privilidges? Is it really supposed to mean 1% extremely rich, and screw everyone else? How can we trust people who have no experience at all of supporting themselves let alone a family, with looking after our countries? Do we actually have a choice? Because tonight, watching their celebrations, I couldnt help but think that nothing has changed at all. We may be more vocal, but we're still the serfs, and they're still the monarchy and their playmates.
God in my head i have a feelthy image of them all in some mass orgy and its not pleasant at all. I have to go throw up.
