"We now have a lot of police and American military at
Senate House at the University of London in Malet Street. From what I can gather either Bush or Powell will be speaking in the next hour or so. Better start getting folks down here for a protest."

I would like some confirmation on this. My own instincts tell me, for no obvious reason, so I may be wrong, that this is an attempt to fatigue our rapid-response capabilities by faking. It is most unlikely that they would do Senate House, which would be too difficult to secure at short notice (too many interesting angles for snipers to begin with), and too many students around. My guess is that this is a deliberate false alert.

Makes you wonder what real changes in plan are in view.
