The Park Nook wildlife area of Princes Park is being destroyed

The Area called Park Nook in Princes Park which is home to hundreds of species of birds and is a rare haven for wildlife , uncommon in an innercity area is being ripped apart by heavy handed contracters.
They have destroyed and damaged trees that have a protection order on them, and they have assaulted a non violent campaigner (who ahs since been treted for concussion.
The wildlife is being destroyed to make way for Luxury flats. This is an area that has many empty properties. There is no need to destroy green space.
There has been a campaign for over 3 years to stop this development and local opinion does not want another block of luxury flats that local people cannot afford.
See pictures and watch this space for more info.
