At the National Trust AGM, members have voted to express their opposition to GM.

The National Trust has 350 tenant farmers, which covers some 38,000 acres of farm land.
The vote was cast as follows: 60% against,26% undecided and 15% for the use of GM crops on National Trust land.

Apparently, the resolution means that the council will have to adopt the anti-gm stance of its members as policy.
