A list of all the Bush Protests is now available.

Bush is visiting, and there are a lot of London events to keep track of. This page has all the events (mainstream, radical, strange, boring) on one page in time/date order.

The page only has events for London, but there are plenty of them. The events are accurate as of the Sunday the 16th of November 2003.

Go to  http://www.fairfordcoachaction.org.uk/44/bush to find a complete listing of all the anti-bush events. Its no replacement for the specific sites, but it allows one to grasp what all the planned events are in one glance. There is also some specific advice to prepare for anti-terror (section 44) searches if you are going to be protesting at any of the events this week.

Key advice:
Be prepared for these searches - you aren't required to give your name, address or an explanation of what you are doing. You aren't required to actively cooperate (that's to say, you can go limp, but you can't actively resist). Police have the same powers with section 44 as they do with the section 60 searches (outer garments only, no suspicion of an individual is required to conduct the search once the power is in effect). Although the power is only to discover instruments of terrorism, you can still get nicked if they find something that they can charge you with under other legal powers (eg- going equipped for criminal damage).

Additional note- There is need for more Legal Observers at the Tea Party 3pm on 19th at Buckingham Palace. Training and coordination will be provided to Legal Observers on Monday the 17th of November at LARC (7pm). See  http://www.resistbush.org for venue details.
