Being ultra-critical, how can you stop work at lunchtime and then at 5pm? Isn't that your lunch break and then your free-time? I think its right that there are local actions, but something a bit more creative and educational would have been better, no? A mass demo in London is one thing, but why replicate it in the city when you can use the space created to do something far more useful. There will be a couple of hundred there at lunch and maybe a 1000 in the evening, you'll go for the usual walk round the city, the SWP will sell a few papers and get their placards on the local news and then everyone will go home or to the pub. The outcome?

I hope that this time, the coalition will produce some leaflets of info that passers-by can read other than membership forms.

I called both contact numbers on the stw site for information regarding the coach to London next thursday from Leeds. One guy said he didn't know any detials but his number had been added to the site, the other number the guy had no idea (07734 907 4205).
So if anyone has a number which can put people through to get tickets, it would be blessing.

The right number is the one I put in the original message above - basically there is an extra '4' in the one on the stop war website - which is annoying. Particularly probably to the bloke whose number was put up instead.
The right number then is 07739074205.

And to striker, well spotted, the protest is at lunchtime - that does not stop you leading a walkout from your workplace earlier on in the day if you wish :)

And you can always come to LCAW meetings to help us design better leaflets - no one will say that our existing leaflets are great.
