THESSALONIKI PRISONERS SUPPORT DEMO CALLED FOR 1pm SATURDAY - STARTS OUTSIDE GREEK TOURIST BOARD, CONDUIT ST, WC1 (OFF REGENT ST)

As you will all know the condition of the prisoners on hungerstrike is extremely critical, especially that of Fernando Perez, one of the two Spanish hungerstrikers, who has been transfered to hospital. The others are in the hospital wing of Koridallos prison in Athens (Greece's highest security prison.)

A demo has been called for Saturday November 15th, at 1pm outside the Greek Tourist Board in Conduit Street, WC1 (off Regent St.) BE LOUD, BE PASSIONATE, BE THERE!

there has been such an surge of solidarity recently, and of course media coverage, let's use this huge momentum to make the pressure on the greek and uk governments unbearable, and save our brothers' lives here. they dont want any more martyrs. pls spread the word about this demo!

OK so the notice was pretty late. But the Thessalonika hunger strikers are not far off
being DEAD.
After the reasonable turn-out last week 30 people is CRAP.

Is it not possible to give a few days notice before these demos.Some of us don't have computers at home and so only check the web when we get the chance(I last checked indymedia on thursday)
