John F. Lehman will be speaking at Magdalene College in the GKN lecture tonight.

If you want to protest a speech by a military advisor/arms dealer who is close to the Bush administration, come out to Magdalene College this afternoon at 5:30 pm. bring instruments and anti-war banners if you have some.

For those reading this on the national site, it's Magdelene College in Cambridge in case you were wondering.

And don't forget that, not only is Lehman a warmonger, but GKN who are sponsoring the lecture are a not-insignificant arms manufacturer... How's that for symbiosis? Arms company promotes warmonger so he can encourage people to buy more arms -- sound familiar?

Previous GKN lectures have been the cause of significant protest, with many feeling that the merchants of death have no place in an academic institution such as Cambridge University. Make this big, and maybe it will be the last one!

Thanks to David Blunkett's secretly negotiated extradition treaty with the US. It was never approved by Parliament, not that the bunch of carreer ladder climbing party line towing 'representatives' would have said 'no'.
