Respect to the firefighters. They risk their lives to save other lives.

Is the Kings Cross disaster so long ago that we have forgotten it? I knew a former fireman in London who was blinded by the Kings Cross fire. He had lost his eyesight trying to save peoples' lives - and they do it willingly every day. Respect to the firefighters. They deserve our admiration, gratitude and support.

This ultra-right wing Neo-Conservative McLabour government's attacks on the firefighters should be seen in the context of their incessant attacks on public services. Tax the filthy rich not public services.
