Public Open Air Video Showing

Bill Stevens | 05.11.2003 14:52 | Anti-militarism

On Monday 10th at 7:00pm outside the crown court building in Plymouth, there will be a series of video projections of public service movies advising on procedures during nuclear attack cut with "When The Wind Blows". Worryingly funny stuff!

There is council and police permission as it is part of a university media course. The "Little White Cafe" opposite the court has agreed to open and serve tea and coffee.

The event is planned to be a peaceful and informative video projection, Not A Protest!

It is hoped that this might become a regular event. The organiser has spent a lot of time fostering good relations with the Council and the Police. So any kind of visible "Direct Action" would definately stop the event from happening again.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Please spread the word. 'Happenings' like this do no occur very often in Plymouth.
