i actually dont mind when men and women play in parks (mostly its ignorant foul mouthed men) and have fun and there is no competition mostly competition promotes agro and ill feeling and if no one keeps scores and people change sides all the time then it is really an anarchistic game
but you dont get that much of that kind of football around
and unfortunatly i dont think that website promotes that kind of play
but i may be wrong (do women play in that league?)

Regarding the role of sports in the working classes etc. football came from the underclass of this island community, it gets used as a manipulator now but the heritage is ours. If you don't think it serves any organising purposes you should really read about the stadiums in the old days of the oppresive communist regimes were the only places of safety were the football crowds. The only dissent possible at times was the booing of the KGB teams who would use the name 'dynamo'. In africa political ideas have long been discussed at the footbal match. Again, safety in numbers.

I suggest you read 'football against the enemy' by simon kuper to discover what football supporters are like worldwide and how football is used by the working classes and how it has allowed certain communities strength in numbers, as well as the obvious joys of watching the talents of gifted players.

It's no wonder we are such a pissy little movement when we come across like party poopers and self-righteous weirdos.

We're talking about "anarchist football" here, not your perception of football in its commercial form, which is obviously problematic in many respects. The sport of football itself is not inherently problematic.
