At 6.00am this morning about 300 police officers participated in raids on 50 flats and meeting places in the Bundesstaat (county) of Schleswig-Holstein. The action was an attempt at destroying the "Combat 18" structure that was being built up in the region. 10 hardcore neo-nazi activists were arrested and taken into custody and will possibly be charged with the formation of a politically motivated criminal gang. The investigation is continuing.

This makes a change to normal police activities which are usually directed at left-wing activists, leading to allegations that the police are "blind in the right eye."
