Campsfield Not Closing! Demonstrate!

Last year Home Secretary David Blunkett announced that Campsfield, the immigration detention centre in Oxford was to close. This week the Home Office announced that far from closing it, they will 'refurbish' and enlarge it by 50%.

Join the National Demonstration to Close Campsfield, 29th November 2003, 12 - 2pm at Campsfield House - A big demonstration is planned to mark 10 years since the first refugees were incarcerated in Campsfield. There will be music and speakers. Please put it in your diary now and come along. Bring your friends, banners, instruments, balloons and whistles.

Turn up at Campsfield main gates on Saturday (tomorrow) for the October demo,

Tell your Councillors and MP, and the media, what you think of the government's change of mind and its policy of detention of refugees and migrants.
