Dis-organised Gathering of Souls
Saturday 1st November 2pm
Fairford Community Centre
The community centre is the building to the south of St Mary's Church in the centre of Fairford. Suitably, it borders on the graveyard and is next to the public toilets. There are local buses from Swindon which leave approx every half hour from Swindon Railway Station. Free Parking is available in the car park directly opposite the top of the High Street. MAP

Ghost Walk
dusk, Saturday 1st November
Halloweeen has its origins in Samhain, the ancient Celtic festival of the new year, when all the disembodied spirits from the previous year would walk the earth. Local legend has it that the victims of murder all return to seek the out the living who caused their premature deaths. Bring traditional gifts, pumpkins, lanterns; dress appropriately!

change of plan

We are very sorry, but for reasons completely outside our control, as they say, we can't now use Fairford Community Hall for the meeting at 2pm. Small affinity groups are encouraged to make their own arrangements for celtic, buddhist or other peace ceremonies, costume and prop making etc. The Map here:  http://www.fairfordpeacewatch.com/halloween.html shows Fairford town centre to assist.

Keep an eye on  http://www.fairfordpeacewatch.com or do please feel free to contact me at  fairfordpeacewatch@blueyonder.co.uk for further information.
