Conspiracy

23.10.2003 17:18

There seems to have been a virtual media blackout on this story. having been working till late last night I was curious what the news was. My girlfriend told me channel 4 had carried a 15 minute interview. I watched BBC 1 News at 10 & Newsnight and not a single mention of the Galloway story, and the morning papers don't mention it. . .

it happened today

the reason you didn't hear bout it last nite is because they had the hearing today. there's still a conspiracy though. remember the documents telegraph journalists "found" in the iraqi ministry of the interior. sorry to be pedantic

libel action against Daily Telegraph and Christian Science Monitor

23.10.2003 18:43

George Galloway:

"I have launched the GEORGE GALLOWAY LEGAL FUND which will be handled by my lawyers DAVENPORT LYONS, 1 OLD BURLINGTON STREET, LONDON, W1X 2NL. This is to help finance my legal costs in the libel actions I will fight against the Daily Telegraph and the Christian Science Monitor after their vicious attacks upon me in April of this year.

As you will have seen the Christian Science Monitor have now accepted that the documents on which they based a front page story, published all over the world, alleging that I had taken more than six million pounds from the former Iraqi regime, were forgeries. You will know that another newspaper the Mail on Sunday consulting different experts quickly came to the same conclusion. But an apology is not enough, I want this matter fully dealt with through the law and above all I want to get to the bottom of this conspiracy. That is why I need your help.

These utterly false claims were, as I'm sure you will have concluded, entirely politically motivated. They were intended to punish me for my role on the Palestinian and Iraq issues, to intimidate me and others from continuing to make a stand and if possible to drive me out of British politics altogether.

With the support of my friends I intend to fight this. I hope I can count you as one of those friends.

The Telegraph group is controlled by Lord and Lady Black (Barbara Amiel), two of Sharon's and Israel's most vociferous supporters. On Black's board of directors sit Richard Perle and Henry Kissinger, as did once Margaret Thatcher. I mention this so you'll know what we're up against and the bitter and expensive fight on which I have embarked.

I can't do it without your help and I hope you will donate what you can. All contributions will be carefully recorded and will be returned on the successful awarding of costs in the case, or a proportion will be returned if costs are only partly awarded.

Cheques etc should be made payable to the GEORGE GALLOWAY LEGAL FUND and sent to DAVENPORT LYONS SOLICITORS, 1 OLD BURLINGTON STREET, LONDON W1X 2NL, together with a contact address so contributions can be returned. Confidentiality will be respected.I sincerely hope I can count on your support in what will be an important political as well as legal struggle."

Travesty

There is also this Guardian article.

 http://politics.guardian.co.uk/labour/story/0,9061,1069446,00.html

This is a quotation from the Neo Labor party chairman:-
"Any reasonable person would have been disgusted by this incitement and I believe the NCC reached the right verdict today."

If they are so disgusted then why the hypocrisy of absolutely supporting the (stay at home) US President G.W. Bush who said something like 'bring 'em on'. Surely that is also an incitement for attacks on our British troops. It's double standards and our troops are dying in Iraq to save Tony (stay at home) Blair's place in the history books. And now Bush has even been invited by Blair for an official state visit.

Re: “George Galloway has been expelled from the Labour Party following his criticism of the Iraq war.”

George Galloway is one of a handful of political figures that truly command the respect of the average person in the UK, unlike the rest

I was born in 1961, I became political aware as a teenager, all my adult life I have been a supporter of the Labour party, but now I feel betrayed by New Labour, never again can I trust this party. Bush, and Blair’s immoral and illegal wars, how on earth was this situation got to?

Why yes to?

Star Wars! PFI!, the Anderson links!, remember Blair in the house regarding Enron, got his dirty fingers burnt did he. Education fees, foundation hospitals, the targeting of the weak, like the savage benefit cuts and New Deal, I have spoke to many people affected by this evil policy i.e. someone is late for signing, due to bad and unreliable public transport, which they have no control over, then have benefits stopped, thus kids go with out food!. So this is LABOUR! Just look at Blair’s friends abroad, can’t think of a bigger load of right wing evil people. SO this is LABOUR! Shame on you!

The list goes on, I could write for the next few hours about adopted Tory policies, which have hurt my community. I was so happy when the Tory’s got kicked out, little did I realise that we had been betrayed by Blair and his dark friends, his Faustian deal with Murdock, everything is so obvious.

What’s the difference between the BBC, New Labour, and the Tory’s?
Answer NONE! You all put the vested interests first, and all conspire against the population! Giving our collective wealth, to the highest bidder.

WE will not forget or forgive you for this distruction of democracy, and vow to join with others to expose this terrible state of affairs, and try and create a fair and just society, remember those values.

Bush & Blair the evil pair!
