1. New Reclaim The Bases Website

The Reclaim The Bases website has been fully updated.

In an attempt to create a central portal to known information on UK military bases that
is currently scattered around the web (or elsewhere), it now contains many resources, in
particular :

* A list of military bases with (more or less) detailed information on each base
(And also a clickabale map)

* A list of activist groups who campaign against military bases

* Information on the latest developments at military bases

* A news page.

While there is a lot of information there, a lot is still missing! So if your favorite
base or group is missing, or if you see incomplete entries, or if you know of anything
of interest, don't hesitate to send us a mail (either directly, or even better for all to
know on the mailing list. See the Contact page.)



2. Reclaim The Bases weekend of events, jan 17-18 2004
------------------------------------------------------

A weekend of protest, direct action and civil disobedience at military bases throughout
the UK. 17th and 18th of January 2004.

A various mix of activist who were present at the Reclaim The Bases Summer Camp have
decided to call for another Reclaim The Bases Weekend, calling for groups to organise
events at their local military bases on the weekend of the 17th and 18th of January.

There is no fixed form for those events, and no fixed meaning. The only guideline
is "Reclaim The Bases events should not harm or dehumanise other people"

If you are planning on organising an event, please let us know, either mailing us or on
the mailing list (See the Contact section) so it can be advertised with the other events.
