Report from yesterday's action

Quick report from yesterdays anti MCD's Action at Leicester Square

A small but lively picket/demo with a good mix of people Anarchists/Socialists/Animal Rights.
Started at 5:30pm when Leicester Sq is at its busiest with lots of people on way home from work or starting nights out.
A large "Mcexploitation" banner was held up outside, with a big arched M, this went down really well with passers by and tourists alike although the management weren't particularly happy. This was held up for the duration of the demo while others gave out in excess of 800 leaflet, these leaflets went down a treat and only about a handful ended up on the floor and as well as that lots of people came over and told us that we were doing a good job with a few wanting to join the campaign.
at 7pm after the early onsets of frostbite we decided to call it a day but not before entering the premises, banner and all, causing abit of a scene (leaflets to customers, shouting and general mayhem)

Sorry if this report is abit boring but hey i never got a creative writing GCSE! :0)

Cheers

Jb

now it looks like S.T.M is replying to the london demo'rs! Bah! The above plug (mcspotlight) was aimed at 'realist' who posted some stupid bollocks on this page saying McD's were ok etc ... . Is indymedia feeling ok in the head these days?
