PHONEY BOOED IN ST. PAUL'S.

Tom Paine | 10.10.2003 09:34

Phoney murdered the 51 of our troops in Iraq.

And now he has the cheek to turn up at St. Paul's.

A number of irate relatives intend to give him a piece of their mind.

I would not be surprised if they attacked him.

He did, after all, murder their sons and husbands, illegally, to further his own private aims.

He has some neck.

51 dead and more to come.

By this time next year it will be over 200.

And for what?

We need to get our boys out of there.

They are living in a camp in the desert doing nothing.

They don't even patrol Basra anymore.

It's all a big con to cover Phoney.

We demand an exit strategy now.

That war saved millions from Saddam's tyranny

10.10.2003 10:04

That war saved millions of people who were suffering under Saddam's tyrannical regime. It liberated 23 million people in Iraq from one of the most evil and repressive regimes in the world.

Far more British troops died liberating Europe from fascism but would the relatives of those dead men moan and say it wasn't worth it?

New regime

So, the Iraqi people have been liberated into a shining age of democracy? More likely it is yet another brutal regime - but at least compliant with us, like Saddam used to be - with all the same police & tortures in the same old jobs.
Sounds like liberation. Let's give them democracy, and they can give us a truely scary government.
For the record, WWII wasn't worth it. Who cares who wins, when you have murderous fascists on one side and a collaboration of murderous communists and murderous capitalists on the other? Hitler killed something like 10 Million people (although, I know he would have done more, given time) but Russia killed maybe 60 million in the next 30 years, China another 30 odd million and the US...... Who knows? Certainly about 6 million just in Vietnam, Laos and Kampuchea. Then there is South America and Africa.
