Animal rights groups have in the past been guilty of turning a small unheard of piss take into a big issue by overreacting. What I have in mind was the PETA website (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals) which resulted in a campaign to shut it down. The campaign gave the site the oxygen of publicity which is obviously all it wanted. And obviously there were no end of meat heads stepping forward to defend free speech against the censorship of animal rights.

The bonsi kitten site looks like a hoax (I hope it is). It appears to be designed to provoke a reaction. The photos don't indicate much and are nothing you couldn't do with photoshop. The guest room appears real popular and if the site is real then it's scary just how many people appear to be into this stuff. However, I suspect that the guest room is mostly faked also.

If people think the site is real then I think it is the company and idividuals involved that need to be targeted and not the website. Attacking the website will draw attention to it and assist their publicity. It also confuses the issue from one of unlawful abuse of animals to one on of freespeech and censorship.

We must always think careful before jumping.

thankfully the hackitvist website has posted a message on its site to state that the bonsai kitty site is just a sick joke. wish they'd of come back and posted that here intstead of leaving it to a visitor like myself here.

My name is sarah and i believe, as im sure all sane people think, that animal cruelty is bang out of order.This information which ive just read has really moved me me im so ashamed of our human race that people would even dream of doing this to little defenceless creatures so that they can get sick, twistwed satisfaction of watching these animals suffer. What have these animals ever done to deserve this? its about time the government stop thinking abou how we can help the human race make luxury items and think of how animals every second of the day are being mistreated in some way. When im older i would love to become a lawyer and stand up for animal rights as its about time that laws are inforced and to prosecute the culprit.
I hope you people really do shut down this hell hole for these animals!!! You are so kind to think of thee animals as us people are the only ones who give these animals a voice.

I just want express my utter concern for this human race. What has happened? I find this act of animal cruelty utterly disgusting. It is the worst example of the lack of human morals i have ever seen. What gives us the right to treat these tiny animals in such a degrading way. I am going to petition to save these cats and wipe out bonsai cats for ever. I would ask all who read this to take this task upon themselves and speak out against animal cruelty of all situaions. This is purely for human entertainment and vanity, some thing to show to our friends. It has no point and so causes unnecessary suffering to these animals. I am only 15 years of age but i have an extremely strong oppinion against all animal abuse in this world and will not rest until it is abolished. I will be an animal rights campaigner when i am older and hopefully help to bring those horrid people out there to justice!
