There are comments on this downwire but it is important to make this occasion memorable for all concerned. The dates in themselves are significant. Now why does a Bob Marley crazy baldhead reference ring immutably true. We got the power if we choose to use it
There will definetly be direct action from me, every president has to visit England Once in there presidental term, there was an article in the daily mirror saying that if teh visit went ahead it would be embarrasing for the queen and George Bush may be 'offended' (poor sod he is) at the potentially violent protest.
Both Bush and Blair said before the war that they were pledged to building a democray in Iraq after the war and would not stay there any longer than was neccessary to resotre order and peace. The war contary to what the anti-war movement said went smoothly toppling Saddam and his regime after just three weeks with few casualties and little damage to the country. The country is now being rebuilt and order restored. Bush and Blair has promised that troops will not stay any longer than is necessary and will leave the country as soon as a democratic Iraqi government is set up to run the country. On top of that Bush has pledged 70 billion dollars for the rebuilding of Iraq! What more do you want?
.. for that, I no longer think kindly towards your mental affliction (slavish devotion).
How dare you suggest that 12 years of destruction in the fields of water sainitaion, health care and access to primary medicines, power supply and other vital and important infrastructure (which is specifically prohibited from targeting in every significant international treaty SIGNED by the aggressive parties) is little damage.
Your sinister rantings carry no weight here, and in Iraq would have the soles of a million shoes heading your way ..
Bush is only in the country three days and he can't do an awful lot in that time, you know the dates - 19, 20 & 21/11/03.
He will probably be in one of three places, that's Downing Street, Buck Palace or Parliament and there not a million miles apart from eachother, just join the crowds.
There's no excuses, if you opposed the war and still oppose the occupation of Iraq just get your arses to London on either or all of those dates OK.
And if anyone thinks that they can't be bothered, well I know of a little fella who would have loved to go and give Bush hassle, but he's sadly no longer with us.
I have been reading some websites and posting comments to some groups but as to now seen anything that has grabbed my attention. indeed the number of people actually reachable and look that they are going to be politically active looks in terms of handfuls rather than meaniful or dedicated numbers.
I was wondering if anyone had anything planned for the visit that would have a impact on either the events, cause a delay, or be spectacularly rememberable, other than showing your arse.
