The Umbilical Cord between the US Administration and Political Islam

An article about the situation in Iraq in relation to 'Political Islam', by a group called the 'Worker-Communist Party Of Iraq', which is a non-Stalinist Marxist-Leninist group, who are running the Iraqi Union of Unemployed, which now has over 130,000 members.

While the US administration is perfectly prepared to let islamic militias do the hell they like (eg. attack union demonstrators), ban street selling of alcohol, and buddy up to islamic extremists (so long as they're not anti-occupation), it won't give in to a single demand of the Iraqi Union of Unemployed, and even arrests their leaders.

The Worker-Communist Party of Iraq's site has a lot of good information from inside Iraq from a secular leftist prospective, information which almost everyone else ignores. They also have quite a lot of regular articles.
