Have just set up a Dsei defendants mailing list. This is a low volume mailing list for those who have been arrested, charged, assaulted or in some way affected by police actions over the Dsei arms Fair events in London, September 2003

It is to exchange info and help about court cases, legal support, pleas, bail and witness appeals etc and to make it easier to find out what is going on in other courts for Dsei demonstrators on different days.

It should also be a good way to find out statements to make in court for people charged with similar crimes to you, to see how other people's cases are going and to provide support legal or otherwise to people in court.

Suggestions for things to include in your posts would be a name, details of your arrest and charge, date, time and place of arrest, where you are in court, legal representation or not and what is happening with your case. Also if you have/need witnesses. Anything else I haven't thought of?

There should be around 100 people on the list, so obviously protect yourself legally with what you say.

This list has been set up by someone who has been arrested and wanted more info, so I won't be doing much in the way of moderation. If you see something that needs changing or updating, please help yourself.
