Demonstrate 1:00 p.m. Huddersfield Town Hall.

So the British National Party (BNP) has been voted in to yet another district in West-Yorkshire because the voting public at large has no idea haw the local government is actually run. While I fully believe that demonstrations like the one happening to day out side Huddersfield Town Hall are needed to let the BNP know they are not wanted in our town. We do need to let people know exactly how the local government works and how the BNP will implement their policies.

Join the fight against racism. Help us to preserve the multicultural heritage in Huddersfield of which we are proud. Defeat the racists who hide under the respectability of the electoral process. The BNP cannot be tolerated; we call on everyone across communities to refuse to cooperate with them.

We need everyone to be involved in the struggle against racism ant every level of commitment. We seek to expose the BNP as the Neo-Nazis they are. The genuine grievances that they exploit such as imployment and housing problems need to be properly and fairly addressed.

The election of the first British National Party councillor in Kirkless represents a small success for a party which has won a seat through deceit, misinformation and to some extent exploiting peoples apathy.

Huddersfield is one of the most multicultural towns in Britain, where communities of Asian, Caribbean, English, Irish and eastern European origins live peacefully together alongside refugee communities. We will not allow the BNP to stir up the racial hatred in our community. A divide and rule tactic that we have seen implemented in Oldham, Bradford and Dewsbury.
