Three Oxford women (Jenny Stanton, Caroline Raine, Ag McKeith) will shortly return from their visit to Ramallah (on behalf of Oxford Ramallah Friendship Association( ORFA)). They have met women's groups, such as the Palestine Working Women's Association, as well as cultural, political and church groups. The aim is to link these with their opposite numbers in Oxford.
They will also have looked at conditions for the people of Ramallah under the occupation - visiting the city, the universities and the refugee camps.
In Jerusalem, they will have met Israeli women's peace groups.

They will be holding a report-back meeting in Oxford on Tuesday, 16 September (7.30pm, Oxford Town Hall), to tell of their experiences and report on the work of the groups they visited. Please come and hear their eye-witness accounts at this open public meeting.
