Arms for sale on the light rail to DESI

Indymedia Picture Desk | 10.09.2003 11:30 | DSEi 2003 | Anti-militarism | London

Protestors posing as arms dealers joined the hundreds of other dealers and buyers on the trains to the Excel centre this morning. Three suited protesters didnt wait for the fair, but started selling their wares on the train. Announcing they had arms for sale two opened their cases revealing various sets of arms (prosthetic and dolls arms) they had to sell. Another reved up the dealers with human resource management speak and exclaimations of "kill, kill, kill".

That was a very well thought plan, especially seeing as it targetted the real individuals without actually causing disruption. (I'm in no way anti Disruption, but balance can be as good as rank and file attack). Very clever way of grabbing the attention of a few of those concerned and making them really think about what they're doing.
Keep it up!

the people that did this also had a box with wooden arm replacements in... i liked the arm replacement where the only moving part was the trigger finger, i imagine it would have gone for thousands of £'s

isn't it strange that those who oppose war and support peace are suddenly terrorists?

"the peaceful terrorist"
