I saw this van yestaday, It has what looks like a satalite reciver/transmiter on the top and an array of radio recivers, but I think it way to small to transmit. my guess is it's a ground station for the chopper, Used to relay pic's from the skys to the cops on the ground. Anyone know any more than this?

What sort of people are working inside it? What sort of gear is inside it? - not clear from pic.

Ask dh he'll know about it...but shit the lengths these criminals will go to to protect thier interest....now is that not at least worthy of some tire spiking or outright sabotage????

I work in the field as a PI between 70 and 90 hours per week. I believe this unit would be recognized by all but the dumbest of surveillance subjects. I wish I had the financial backing that produced this unit. I could have done a much better job.

This vehicle is a news vehicle, Why would an UNDERCOVER vehicle have satelite radio communication for uplinked telecommunications. There is no need to have live video feed if for intel purpose. It would be done a little more discrete NOT with huge satelite antenas all over it. Trust me, the govt has more money then that and the equipment we have will make your head spin, as for Mr. PI dude get a life.

Unlike Mr. PI I have worked in Govt Intel and currently I am overseas working for XXX Govt in West Africa and got a big kick out of this article but for those that have true concern relax, its not Police.
