So far, 66 people are thought to have been arrested on anti-DSEi actions. Of these, 61 are known to have been arrested under various police [abuses of] 'powers' such as section 44 of the Terrorism Act 2000....

Indeed, the Met. Police have said that S44 is now empowered throughout the metropolitan area of London. This means that *anybody, anywhere* in London can be stopped on suspicion of being a terrorist! So far, many, many people - more than just those arrested - have been stopped and searched.

It is not known at present what the remaining 5 people have been arrested for.
