"Organising against the 2005 G8 is only just beginning, the session at the bookfair is as good a place to go as any. Until the location is leaked, I don't think we can organise much specifically in the North East. But we CAN organise for OTHER THINGS. Capitalism doesn't just come to town for one day. So any ideas? More training like that in the picture? An event to bring groups together?"
Following on from the post by Geordie Cong can I suggest that all interested groups and individuals connected in someway to the northeast and want to organise workshops, gigs, actions, networking, support groups, tee and biccie evenings, log onto to www.urban75.com and go to the bulletin boards, then scroll down to the protest/direction action board. Look for the Thread North East United. U will need to register to be able to post and depending how long it takes b4 anyone adds to the thread u may have to scroll down the threads to find it, however once a comment has been added the thread will return to the top of the board.
I think by using this board we can have a good old chin wag arrange a meet and take it from there.
Reckon this could help to get all interested parties/individuals communicating and networking.
