Anti-Dsei activists should could learn a lot from street activists in Northern Ireland who had brilliant tactics for confornting the army and RUC. Everyone and I mean everyone was masked up. Black block uniforms were not used those so that it was harder to identify troublemakers, instead things parka coats were used with hoods up and hankerchiefs and sunglasses worn to completely cover the face.
Home made riot shields made of wood were used which were much more convienent than Ya Basta style padded clothing, leaving rioters much more mobile and able to pass the home made riot shield onto others. Rioters also always kept mobile and as a result never got penned in, always knew escape routes and where to regroup. As a result arrests of Northern Irish rioters were virtually nil and the a few thousand determind repulicans were able to fight the might of the British state to a standstill for over 20 years.
