Security issues on Indymedia

There is growing concern that Indymedia's log records are being used by state surveillance throughout the world, in order to arrest activists and pre-empt demonstrations.
The FBI has repeatedly seized Seattle Indymedia's log records with court orders enabling agents to storm offices and raid computers. Meanwhile, there are concerns that the Hindu far-right have gained control of India Indymedia and are passing on information to the Indian secret services as they step up their "anti-terrorism" campaign, enshrined in the draconian Prevention of Terrorism Ordinance (POTA). Is there nowhere where we can hide from the repressive state machine?
