NEXT DAY: curfew was lifted today, but at about 11.30 we recieved a report that special forces were occupying a building in the city. After a while heavy machine gun fire came out of that building, and the resistance shot back. A tank and APC were sent in to retrieve the 'special' forces. One small boy was shot in the arm, and reportedly two soldiers were injured.
The people of Jenin get no rest in their homes on their day of rest, not when the occupying army uses a lift of curfew as a chance to attempt to assassinate their men.
