DSEi business, risky radio

lifehertz pir8 | 28.08.2003 02:44 | DSEi 2003 | Peace not War | Anti-militarism | Indymedia | London

First draft of an hour long 'radio' piece for the week of action around the DSEi arms fare... enjoy

This show is being prepared for DSEi. It's 1hr and 5mins long in it's current form.

You are of course free to download it and hack it about and use it as you see fit.

If you have any idea of where or how it might be used, please let us know or better still, make it happen. Anyone taking a sound system to DSEi, please do play this.

It's uploaded here as a low bandwidth MP3 file (16mb) which even a dial up connection should handle eventually if you are really keen. However it is so compressed that it is unlikely to sound great played through a sound system.

(If you wan't a higher quality version, just email us and we'll find a way. We'll try to remember to upload the final version with much less compression but if you don't have broadband, it will be way to big.)

If you have any contributions to make to the final version; spoof adverts, serious info break, the 'news', an approbriate bit of music, or whatever...
please email us via our furry friends .. hamsters @ talk DOT to

This was fabulous. I enjoyed every minute of it. I especially appreciated the liberal reading from my book - I think that's great and that's why I wrote it !

This arms fair thing is going to be big big big. it was covered in the Mirror this morning and I did the Today programme this morning too.

Well done everyone involved in this - from Disarm to CAAT, to groups around the world.. Tomorrow, the moon !

Gideon.

Cool.

FYI - It's an hour and ten minutes actually, theres an forgoten bit/hidden track
on the end after a bit of silence.

BTW Gideon. What's this book of yours?

Did you write the EastEnders script? ;-p
