The European Social Forum is intended as a space to discuss international actions against neoliberalism and share local strategies for combating its effects. This is how you can get involved.

The European Social Forum is intended as a space to discuss international actions against neoliberalism and share local strategies for combating its effects. Last year’s event attracted 60,000 delegates to Florence, and played a vital role in instigating the worldwide anti-war marches on 15 February. This year’s event will continue the discussion on themes ranging from war to privatisation, and racism to the erosion of food sovereignty.

If you wish to organise a seminar at the ESF in Paris, you can do this until 12 September. Instructions can be found at:  http://www.mobilise.org.uk/view/ESF/ProposeSeminar

The best way to get involved in the English Mobilisation is to attend our next Assembly meeting, which takes place at 12 noon, Sunday 31 August at the University of London Union, Malet Street, WC1E 7HY.

You can also keep in touch by joining our interactive, moderated email group (click ‘subscribe’ on this page:  http://lists.mobilise.org.uk/wws/info/esf-uk-info and follow the instructions).
