News of an organising meeting for the soon to be launched Anarchist Workers Network. We've chosen September 27th as it's the day of the anti-war/occupation march in London which will hopefully bring together people from across the country.

Advance warning but there will be an organising meeting for the soon to be launched AWN.

Date: 27 September (day of the anti war march)

Time: 7pm

Location: Freedom Bookshop (provisional), 84b Whitechapel High Street, London E1.

The Anarchist Workers Network is the new name for what was the Anarchist Trade Union Network (ATUN). The AWN will be relaunched at this years Anarchist Bookfair - details of the launch meeting will be posted here closer to the time.

The network aims to bring together anarchists who are trade union members, but is also open to unemployed and retired workers.

This'll definitely be open to workers who aren't unionists as well :o)

The meeting and network will be open to any one, whether in a union or not, in work or out of work including retired, who shares AWN aims.
