People from Oxford and further afield have been very active in recent weeks trying to raise awareness about the thriving trade in weapons of mass destruction going on right on our doorstep, and helping people to make causal links between the recent war on Iraq and the arms trade.

A meeting is going to be held in the East Oxford Community Centre at 7:30pm on Tuesday 26th August, led by Disarm DSEi, an umbrella anti-DSEi organisation, and in association with Oxford Indymedia.

The meeting will provide information on the nature of the organisation itself, and how to get involved with the various campaigns already in motion to protest against it - hopefully to ensure that the event will not go off quite as the organisers have planned.
