Racist Firebombing in Hull - police collusion?
Jimmy The Fish | 04.08.2003 14:47 | Anti-racism
A Kurdish café in Hull has been petrol bombed in what appears to have been a deliberate attempt to trap people inside. Luckily, the owners were warned by police to close early because of fears of attacks on businesses run by asylum seekers.
It appears that the Hull police knew plenty about this in advance and did nothing to prevent it. No suprises here then, in the same way that the Hull police knew that Christopher Alder lay dying on the floor of their custody centre and did nothing to prevent it.

What did they know in advance, who did they know about in advance and why did this attack happen if they knew so much?

^ Hardly a sign that they didn't care really is it.
If anything, too much is put into the racism issue, because why should a crime be treated more seriously if its "racist" rather than any other reason? It's ridiculous.
As for the bombing, well they probably had GENERAL intelligence that businesses run by asylum seekers were at risk, and the resources aren't there to guard all the idiot migrants from being bombed. They shouldn't be running businesses anyway!!
You can't accuse the police of COLLUDING in the bombing because you have no evidence, your comments are depraved and idiotic. Give us some evidence or get someone to delete this shit article.

if no migrant was allowed to run a business, there would be nothing of the human economy but whatever the descendants of people who evolved out of apes at olduvai gorge (or wherever) managed to get together.
anyone who thinks migrants are somehow different from other people has clearly not got a decent pair of shoes nor ever walked up a hill and thought that things on the other side looked interesting. let alone that the people on the other side of the hill (valley, sea, street, whatever) could maybe do with a cafe selling different/better food than the average chippie in Hull ....
the racism in hull, as everywhere, is horrible. I fear for my Turkish friends there, who face regular harrassment and abuse for no logical reason. there's a kind of feear-based insularity in the culture of that town, an insularity which is fertile ground for the latest 'divide and rule' tactics used by government and mainstream media to make sure poor and disadvantaged people hate and fight each other. just imagine if hull had a decent education system, if everyone did less drinking themselves stupid while talking sex and football in mega pubs and more learning from visitors' different experiences... good god they might start working together to redress injustices. and that would never make a profit for the town's old guard and their business cronies...
where do some people get their ideas? nowhere I would want to sit down and sup.

Idiot immigrants like the greatly oppressed kurdish refugees shouldn't own buisness's because, when they were being persecuted in their homelands, such as iraq, their buisness's were destroyed and ransacked in anti kurd pogroms too, these people are use having their livelihood and what little scraps destroyed, why change a habit of a lifetime for them eh?.
