But, as it goes, if and when there's something I think important about the SWP's trashing of democracy and its implications for the left in the UK, I'll post it. If you're not interested, cool, don't read it.

Er i hadnt contributed to this thread either but as you were missing me so much im just saying hello...

The issue on the link (which *sigh* sonic is not broken) is important one for people who are active in the antiwar movement. Maybe you all live in vacuums with antiwar campaigns that are free from the swp's thuggery but in bham and many other places its not..

The issue is NOT that they won a vote as thats democracy but all the things that they did to win it which include:

*smearing anyone who disagrees with their dropping of antisexist and antihomophobic principles as 'racist'

*smearing anyone who opposes their attempt to transmute the antiwar movement into a politcal party based upon the mosque heirarchy as 'islamophobic'

*their physical attacks on people that disagree with them (and *yawn* put 'physical attack' in the search if you dont believe me)

Bet if the SWP had send they are going to transmute the antiwar movement into a racist one (as opposed to 'merely' a sexist and homophobic one) you wouldnt all be sitting on your lard arses

people ,This story has been on indymedia at least once every week
for the past month (check the history) with the same people shouting
the same stuff over and over again.It is news in the fact that it once was news
now it has become a subject i am sure will be debated amongst the sectarian
english left where it shuld be .It shouldnt becoming back every week for the same
drivel to be spouted by the same people aka,sonic, francis,old mother amongst others .
