Small argumeny in Birmingham, not many hurt

fascinating stuff there.....I am sure historians of the development of the world movement against capitalism will find much of value here, especially the undemocratic way the majority kept winning votes!

Ever thought you should all just go out for a beer together and get over this?

Injustice Anywhere Is A Threat Everywhere

so sonic you dont have a problem with antiwar activists being smeared by the SWP as 'racist' dont have a problem with a victimised firefighter, trade unionist and socialist steve godward being further victimised by scab bound SWPies who threatned him beacuse he believes the antiwar movement should be democratic and you have no problem with SWP not allowing one of the few socialists from a muslim background to speak on why the SWP's lie that being against a political party with mosque elders is the same as being 'racist'...
...your constant inability to deal with the *facts* rather suggests that you dont have much faith in your own political views...quite sad really

not this again!

I still haven't seen any evidence of this so-called 'Peace + Justice' thing, except allegations in rival Trot paper Weekly Worker..

And now I notice the latest edition of that fine publication says this:
"Plans for a 'radical' Peace and Justice platform in Birmingham...are unlikely to have developed much further than the imagination of an increasingly pompous John Rees."

In other words their only source all along has been some sort of telepathic reading of the leading local SWaPpie! Seriously, is any of this real or is this a Phantom Menace?

Also, Gerk, couple of friendly suggestions:
1. If it upsets you so deeply when people nick your IMC name (see earlier thread) then maybe you shouldn't have picked someone else's name to post under in the first place?
2. More importantly, rather than posting the same rant against the SWP in different words every day, why not put the time into organising an alternative to them?

"scab bound SWPies

Complain about "smears" and then say "scab bound SWPies"

Hmmm.

All I can see is one little group lost a vote to another little group and cannot seem to get over it.

I do however have a solution!

People from your little group should get 3 votes each, then you can be sure you will always win votes against the other little group!
