Did someone say the Peace movement was dead? Well, if it ever was, it's reborn now, fully formed, as an Anti-Bush, Anti-Imperialist, End the Occupation, Out of Iraq, Pro-Civil Liberties, Social and Global Justice Movement -- and it had it's coming out party Friday evening in Century City Plaza!


L.A. ***RE-PREE-SENTS!!!*** :

THOUSANDS PROTEST "W" BUSH OUTSIDE WESTSIDE FUND-RAISER!!

In a scene spectacularly reminiscent of this past winter's more massive demonstrations -- a crowd of protesters, as high as 10,000, gathered directly across the street from the Century City Plaza Hotel in L.A. -- where "Bush the Imbecile" raised $3.5 million dollars from his fellow corporate plutocrat cronies (with help from ole pop crooner Johnny Mathis and obnoxiously smarmy hard-right-wing 'comedian' Dennis Miller). The protesters, meanwhile, shouted, chanted, danced, carried very creative and funny signs, of course made fun of "Dubya" [if he had a brain, he'd **REALLY** be dangerous!], listened to speeches and enjoyed songs from the main stage and, most memorably, roared euphorically when a huge, literally, giant pink slip banner with a special message for "Dubya" --"Bush! You lied! You're FIRED!"-- was lowered from a 9th floor balcony, extending down three(!) stories, of the prominent Century City Plaza Hotel highrise!! The protesters gave a very warm--hot pink--L.A. welcome to the national idiot!

Maybe soon Britain can give a similar 'warm' reception to Bush's "Yankee Poodle" Blair!
