Welcome fellow human beings. My name is Steve Gough and I intend to walk from Land's end to John O'groats (the length of the British Isles) naked, in both a celebration of the human body and a campaign to enlighten the public, as well as the authorities that govern us, that the freedom to go naked in public is a basic human right. The walk starts on the 16th of June 2003. The walk will take approximately 40-60 days averaging 20 miles per day. This is a big adventure for me having only previously ever walked 26 miles in one go and then having a week off to recover! I haven't a clue what to expect, but the thought of me setting out into that great unknown (and it's not just the countryside I'm talking about here) gives me a great sense of excitement.
