The Smoking Gun: The "Real" IRA, Palestinian Terrorists and ISM

John Morgan | 14.07.2003 16:06

The smoking gun: these pathetic denials will not stand the test of time. This man is a member of the "Real" IRA.

Irish "reporter" held in Israel
The editor of a daily Irish language newspaper has said the Northern Ireland man held by Israeli police was working as their correspondent.

The man - who is in his 40s - was arrested at the weekend by Israeli security forces reportedly acting on information from UK security services.

The west Belfast man was arrested near the town of Ramallah.

Ciaran O Pronntaigh of the Belfast paper, Lá, said the allegations made against Seán O Muireagáin were "rubbish".

"He is a well-known Irish language and Palestine Solidarity Committee activist in Belfast and was reporting from Jenin for Lá and Raidió na Gaeltachta. He was arrested on his way into Ramallah," he said.

Mr O Pronntaigh said the paper had contacted the Israeli Embassy in Dublin to demand his immediate release.

He added: "On July 8, we published a full-page account from Jenin in the West Bank by Seán O Muireagáin in our paper, a piece which was accompanied by his photograph, proof that he was in the occupied territories openly.

"We have contacted the Israeli Embassy in Dublin to demand Mr O Muireagáín's immediate release."

'Worried for safety'

Earlier, a Palestinian support group based in Belfast said the Northern Ireland man was in the West Bank on a cultural exchange project.

The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign said it last heard from him on Saturday and was worried for his safety.

The Associated Press news agency said the man was arrested on Saturday afternoon and was being questioned by the Sin Bet security agency.

BBC?

The BBC usually censor anything about the middle east that isn't rabidly Judeophobic, so if they're reporting this then the ISM should be looking over their shoulders. Terrorists like Hamas, Islamic Jihad etc and their supporters in the ISM have to be dealt with before the Palestinian people can realises their hopes of living in peace.

2+2=5 in zionist fantasy land

14.07.2003 17:14

The rest of the world say apartheid wall -

the BBC says it's a "fence" - just like war criminal Sharon and his moronic minions.

The rest of the world says Assassination/State murder -

the BBC says "targetted killings" - just like the zionist fanatics.

The rest of the world says gunships/tanks/bulldozers attack defenceless civilians -

the BBC says "incursion" -

and on, and on.

It seems that the zionist fundamentalists won't be happy until we all accept their 2+2=5 perversions of reality. How else to explain the truly pathetic statement that -

"The BBC usually censor anything about the middle east that isn't rabidly Judeophobic".

2+2=zionist conspiracy in self loathing liberal / arab imperialist fantasy land

And how, I wonder, would Auntie care to explain the BBC determined failure to report the numerous breaches of the 'hudna' by Palestinian terrorists? Less than a day in, a branch of signatories Fatah murdered an unarmed Bulgarian labourer and the BBC didn't even mention it. It was Jew-bashing business as usual down at the wise monkey Beeb, motto 'if we don't report it, pretend it didn't happen'.

Present a case for the impartiality of the BBC on the Israel-Palestinian conflict. I'd rip it to shreds in seconds. The BBC are distinctly pro-Palestinian, and you're the one in fantasy land. Look at the bullshit you snuck in at the end of your comment. Go to the BBC news website and do a search for 'Israel wall'... 82 results. So the BBC call it a fence, not a wall, do they? If you're going to spout bullshit, at least think of something I can't disprove within five seconds.

I rest my case

AYC hilariously states "Look at the bullshit you snuck in at the end of your comment".

I agree, it is bullshit - written by AYC him/herself. That's why I quoted it.

As for BBC language, just yesterday (Sunday) the BBC again described Sharon's apartheid wall as a "fence" -

AYC comments on a Bulgarian victim of violence apparently ignored by the BBC. I wonder, how many of the far greater number of children, women and men killed by the illegal Occupation Forces get an individual mention?
