FEAR OF WAR IS FEAR OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTIOPN
Despite the advanced level of civilisation that we have achieved, we fail to reduce the horror of war. On the contrary, advanced technology has increased the horror of war to an unimaginable level. Today, some Iraqis in exile, who experienced fear and horror for a long time, have met to express their feelings about the latest war in their country through a series of murals. The murals are in different mediums and sizes. This project started a week before the war, and as we witness endless wars and we feel it won't be the last one in the world, we have chosen to extend this into an on-going workshop about the human cost of war. We emphasise that we are making no political statements, and we stand on no side except that of the human being.
