Al Qaeda's new home

Imagine the scene. It is a warm October night in Chittagongs busy shipping port. Like most nights, the winter months, don't mean cold nights. Instead the lower heat and humidity are the only indications that it is nearing the winter. Like most nights, port workers are gettign ready to eat meals with their family, or getting ready for prayers. Like most nights, the police are patrolling the port area. But unlike ANY other night before, there are no ships coming in or out of the port. In Bangladesh's busiest port, it is unheard of for ships not to dock at night.
On October 21 2002, no all ships were stopped by the govt from docking. In the middle of the night, one mysterious ship came to dock, the MV Mecca. No-one knew what its cargo held, nor where where it had come from. It caem, emptied its cargo and left within 2 hours. The port was quickly re-opened.
Indian intelligence has found from witnesses, that the ships cargo was people. Not just ordinary people. But people who had 'heavy weaponary' and 'long beards'. People said to be part of the Al-Qaeda network. People wanted throughout the world. It is believed that on that night, the Bangladesh govt conspired to give safe havens to over 100 Al-Qaeda members, who had fled from South East Asia, in the wake of the Bali bombing. The Bangladesh govt deny this. But the evidence is mounting.
It is now commonly believed that Bangladesh is the new home for Al-Qaeda and it should be pressurized into giving up its terrorists.

difficult to believe

nothing could attract more attention.
you'd let them arrive along with everyone else, and no-one would be any wiser.
There must be logs from all those ships that were stopped from entering, and the port authorities would have had to give a reason why the port was closed.
Can the guy who originally posted this say where he gets his info, who he is, what the "official" reason for the closure was etc....?
If not, then why should we believe this?
