Railroad photography (by Latuff)

Wearing a bullet-proof vest, private railroad security agent strikes a pose at Muriqui, coastal Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mostly of people know me as a political artist but, unfortunately, few know I have an extensive work as railroad photographer.

And don't you think that telephone cable passing through his head is a distracting and irrelevant visual element ?
Apart from that, I think it works well.
Just my two-penn'orth.

Sorry, my mistake.......

I misunderstood. I thought Latuff was implying that this section of his output was at least partially aiming at an aesthetic achievement.

Didn't realise the only response he was seeking was
"oh, cor, bodyarmour, bully, capitalist crimes, yeh, yeh..."
Or is it the opposite ?

Being a rather weak individual, seeing subtlety everywhere, I get a bit lost sometimes about what it is I'm supposed to be thinking.

Just need more guidance from someone strong and clever like you, I guess.

Hold on though.......

I read the photographers caption again.
He is contrasting this photography with his political output.
He is bewailing that people get them confused.

Methinks I was right. Art is his objective here. Aesthetics.

You silly blinkered boy.
My subtlety is what is appropriate.
Your blind slogan mongering can take a running jump.
This one is my territory, not yours.
