BNP are fascists

Why the BNP are fascists

We've had nazi BNP posters on here recently so its worth reminding people that the BNP isn't an "alternative" but a fascist party. Here are some signs of fascism:

1. Extreme nationalism - Racism, ethnic supremacy, talk of inferiority of other races - modern fascists tone this down but the ideology remains. Support discrimination against ethnic minorities and want to remove them from the country, despite what they say about it being voluntary, the overall aim in Nick Griffins words is "an all white Britain" (ethnic cleansing). They support isolationism from the EU, the UN and other international organisations. They are very hostile to the UN. They are silent on racist attacks unless they are against white people and spread the false idea that most attacks are against white people. They try and tone down rhetoric and codify it into rants about "asylum seekers flooding in" and "scroungers". Scapegoating ethnic minorities.

2. Extreme sexism - Support "traditional roles" for women, want to limit womens rights and believe women should be at home having lots of children and be subserviant to their husband. Support for chauvanistic policies and discrimination in the job market against women, they are against family friendly working practices because they believe that women should not be at work outside the home. This not always made clear and is usually put in vague or ambiguous terms so as not to completely loose the female vote. Macho leadership with only 1 woman with any importance in the party, who is Nick Griffin's mother. A lack of women candidates and women members with any sort of say in how the party is run. Talk of "family values" as code for sexism and right wing anti abortion and victorian attitudes.

3. Extreme homophobia - Support criminalisation of queers and queer-bashing. Rabid anti gay articles regularly published in their publications like Freedom, Identity and Spearhead Magazine. Support for homophobic hysteria in the tabloids and other campaigns against queers and in favour of discrimination against queers.

4. Anti-Semitism - Has been toned down significantly but individual members still talk as if they are writers for the Nazi Propaganda Ministry. Anti semitism has been masked by "anti zionism" (denying the Jews a place to live), and codified anti semitic comments and articles. Some BNP members still write crude anti semitic articles but the official party line is much more silent. Extreme anti semitic books are sold on the BNP website.

5. Islamophobia - Blatent hysteria about Islam and Muslims. Jumping on the right wing media's band wagon against Muslims. Linking Islam with terrorism and trying to accuse every Muslim of being a terrorist. Support for racism against Muslims and the BNP advocated shutting down mosques.

Do the BNP fit these terms? Of course they do. They are racist fascists.

not all true

The post said the following

"Anti semitism has been masked by "anti zionism" (denying the Jews a place to live), and codified anti semitic comments and articles. Some BNP members still write crude anti semitic articles but the official party line is much more silent. Extreme anti semitic books are sold on the BNP website."

This is not true. I have seen many "right wing" websites and they arent anti-zionist in the slightest. In contrast, they agree with the principles of zionism i.e removing all the jews from around the world and placing them in one ghetto, away from the "white race". Also they admire the tenets of zionism i.e. Jewish supremacy and racism over the indigenious Palestinians. if anything, zionism and fascism are identical twin ideologies. The Jews already have a place to live, the entire world, just like Muslims and Christians, and there is no need to say that fighting zionism is "denying them a place to live". Why do you think that only 3 million Jews out of 15 million choose to live in "israel"? Its because they see zionism for what it is, a racist fascist ideology that will cause endless suffering and enmity between them and their "cousins", the Arabs.

I agree with all of the points except the last. The BNP work closely with Islamic extremists to target their common Jewish and socialist enemies.

The peculiar bond between white nationalist groups and certain Muslim extremists derives in part from a shared set of enemies Jews, the United States, race-mixing, ethnic diversity. It is also very much a function of the shared belief that they must shield their own peoples from the corrupting influence of foreign cultures and the homogenizing juggernaut of globalization. Both sets of groups also have a penchant for far-flung conspiracy theories that caricature Jewish power.

Even before World War II, Western fascists began to forge ideological and operational ties to Islamic extremists. Over the years, these contacts between Nazis and Muslim nationalists developed into dangerous networks that have been implicated in a number of bloody terrorist attacks in Europe and the Middle East. Wealthy Arab regimes have financed extremists in Europe and the United States, just as Western neo-Nazis have helped to build Holocaust denial machinery in the Arab world.

In the 1970s, Saudi Arabia hired an American neo-Nazi as a lobbyist in the United States. In the 1980s, U.S. neo-Nazi strategist Louis Beam openly called for a linkup of America's far right with the "liberation movements" of Libya, Syria, Iran and Palestine. In the 1990s, an American Black Muslim was convicted in a plot to bomb the United Nations and other New York landmarks that was masterminded by a blind Egyptian cleric (see story on Black Muslims at bottom of this article). Just last year, a meeting sponsored by a U.S. Holocaust denial group brought together Arab and Western extremists in Jordan (see story on Holocaust denial, also at bottom of this page). And after the Sept. 11 attacks, a spate of articles by American neo-Nazis and white supremacists appeared in Islamic publications and Web sites.

The ANL have good intentions but as their methods are questionable.

There's only one true racist Government in the western world, if you cared so much, you'd be supporting the Palestinians.

That is true of only a small minority of Muslims, who are allowed to get away with their fascist views (advocating male dominance over the female mind and body, death for homosexuals, extreme intolerance and the end of diversity - much like the BNP) BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU who talk about Muslims as if they were a homogenous group. They can then use the goodwill of those who oppose religious intolerance to stifle any criticism of their fascist views.

hidden coments

since it's true that the thread did not make sense any more, I have opted for a massive hiding of postings - they were not adding any new information or even view on the subject and we are NOT going to risk the long life of this site only so that a bunch of fascists enjoy open publishing for something that is not supposed to support.

please abstain from posting racist comments on this site.
