The government didn't give a flying fig about overwhelming public opinion on the Iraq war, so why would they take any heed on this issue? This debate is a farce. Here's a prediction... The UK will go GM and announce it is safe before the end of the year. Like it or lump it, you have no say.

I predict that if HMG ignore public opinion, then a lot of people will become 'night-time gardeners'.

Vote against GM.
Don't buy GM.
Protect our environment by pulling up GM.
