Lets hope it's not the latest officially sanctioned "science" they're revealing.

There's little doubt that "gulf war syndrome" and leukaemia clusters in Iraq are associated with DU munitions. Burning and bombing nerve agents and other toxic nasties in the desert probably didn't help.

A great giveaway as to how nasty this stuff is came when UK troops were shown on TV as they recovered survivors and bodies from an armoured personnel carrier which had been attacked with DU rounds from a US ground attack aircraft.

The troops were wearing full protection.
