At least part of the bridge support demonstration is still surrounded by police at the intersection of Rue du Mont-Blanc and Quai du Mont-Blanc, just north of Pont du Mont-Blanc. These demonstrators are being fired upon with rubber bullets from all sides.

Police have charged the 1,000 demonstrators who had come to support the bridge demo and driven them back toward the train station. The streets all around are blocked off. Some indymedia people are blocked in with them. They are heading toward the police station. Police have used gas and rubber bullets against the support demonstration, who are on Place des Alpes, as well as the ones who are currently surrounded by police on the northwest side of the bridge Mont-Blanc. The two demonstrations have been broken up into small groups everywhere. Plainclothes police are running after young people.23h12 The people of the bridge never actually managed to go on the bridge, they were stuck and surrounded on the north side of it ( trainstation side ). Now they have been attacked with teargas and charged by the police, as they were still surrounded.
